A Traditional English Country Pub

The Prince Albert is a hidden gem of a pub in Freith and one of the few unspoilt traditional English Country pubs left in this area. There are no televisions or juke boxes - just a warm welcome, good conversation and a great selection of Brakspears beers and regular guest beers.

Set in the Chilterns, close to Hambleden, Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, The Prince Albert dates back to the 1700s and has been a pub since 1740. It still has many of its original features, with low black beams and inglenook fireplaces. In the Winter there are warming fires and in the Summer a garden with seating to admire the views, popular with walkers and cyclists exploring the area.

Serving traditional pub food like jacket potatoes, country pâté, local cured ham, Hambleden Valley steak burger and sausages, gammon steak and chips as well as daily specials. To take a look at our menu please click here.

Please join us at The Prince Albert where a warm and friendly welcome awaits you.
